'The Bear' Watch Design

Although my interest in watchmaking began years ago, I only started designing timepieces recently. The Bear was my first exploration into watch design. It doesn’t follow traditional standards and would require significant refinement to be manufactured, but it’s included here to highlight my growth—from early experimentation to more refined designs like my GMT Dive Watch.
In this concept, I took creative liberties with positive and negative space, especially in the lume and small seconds, while experimenting with perceived depth and unconventional layout choices. The watch features a domed crystal, concave dial for added dimension, a small seconds subdial, sun and moon phase, and a date window.
